Help Us Secure the Future of Faith in Action

Faith in Action has run a Homeless Drop-in every Wednesday and Friday since 2002. We welcome around 60 people, providing hot drinks, breakfast and a healthy 2-course cooked lunch, as well as access to hot showers, a laundry service, sleeping bags, clothing and food parcels. Working with our partners, we are able to change lives - helping people to seek accommodation, find employment, access benefits, open bank accounts, obtain ID documents or access health services.

Sadly, we have now been served notice to leave our current premises by April 2027. We therefore have less than a year to find and secure a new home for the project. We are inviting key stakeholders, partners and supporters to a focused solutions meeting to help identify premises, funding opportunities and practical support.

  • We are particularly seeking individuals and organisations able to offer:
  • Property, planning or development expertise
  • Fundraising or grant-funding knowledge
  • Legal, financial or governance support
  • Links to landlords, businesses or property owners
  • Influence within local or national government
  • Practical resources or services

This is a solutions-focused meeting

We are incredibly grateful for the goodwill and encouragement shown by the community. However, due to limited capacity, this meeting is intended for individuals and organisations who can offer practical expertise, professional knowledge, strategic influence, resources, or specific assistance that could help Faith in Action identify, secure and fund future premises.

This is a working meeting aimed at generating solutions and forming action groups to help secure the future of Faith in Action.
